Play music in Discord voice channels from the Ticket Kick music system.
Join a voice channel#
Join the voice channel where you want the bot to play music.
- Ticket Kick needs Connect and Speak permissions.
Start playback#
Use the music controls provided by the bot to play a supported track.
- Check that the audio source is supported.
- Keep the bot connected while music is playing.
Automatic playback#
Use the Auto button in the player to choose whether YouTube recommendations play when the queue is empty. If no track is playing, Auto starts a track and enables recommendations.
- Auto off: playback stops when the queue is empty.
- Auto on: Ticket Kick adds recommendations from the YouTube mix for the last track.
Controls#
Use the available buttons to pause, resume, skip, stop playback or change automatic playback.
- Only use controls in the appropriate music context.
Troubleshooting#
If playback fails, check voice permissions and the audio tools installed on the host.
- FFmpeg and the configured downloader must be available.
